Use the treemap filter to visualize hierarchical data and filter reports by selecting categories. The size of each tile represents the relative value of a category, making it easy to identify major contributors while interacting with the data.
Configure a treemap filter
Filter based on hierarchical data with the treemap filter.
Add a Super Filter visual.
Assign a hierarchical dimension to the Category bucket.
In the Filter ribbon, select Treemap from Quick Mode.
In the Filter ribbon, go to Properties to apply customizations, such as tile selection method or appearance.
Select a specific tile to filter by one category.
Select and drag to filter across multiple categories.
