# Integrate Planning with Analytics

Integrating the **Planning sheet** into your **Lumel Intelligence sheet** enables a unified approach to data analysis. This setup lets you bring simulations, scenarios, forecasts, and queried data from **Infobridge**—within a reporting and analytics environment. By combining planning and analytics in one place, you can create a more cohesive and data-driven decision-making process.

1. A planning sheet has been created as shown below. Revisit this section if you need assistance in creating a planning sheet: [Create a Planning Sheet](/create-planning-analytics-and-data-apps/create-planning-sheet.md).&#x20;

2. After the planning sheet is created, click on the '+' icon beside the planning sheet at the bottom, and choose **Modern BI.**

3. Enter a name for the BI sheet and click **Create.**

The BI sheet is created.

<figure><img src="/files/AU4U5ExPHUvNHWKcn5hU" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

4. In the Visualizations pane, select **Planning** to add it to the BI sheet.

<figure><img src="/files/Y5FMj3LRg7zDWyqEupp2" alt=""><figcaption><p>Click on 'Planning'</p></figcaption></figure>

5. A list of planning sheets available in the current EPM item is displayed. Select the required planning sheet and click **Add**.

<figure><img src="/files/qQDhB2HKvPHpEds8K7cM" alt=""><figcaption><p>Add planning sheet</p></figcaption></figure>

The planning sheet gets added as shown:

6. You can now include visualizations in the BI sheet and **connect with the measures in the Planning sheet**, such as data input, formula, simulation, and forecast measures. These are available in the '**From Sheets**' section of the Data pane.

<figure><img src="/files/aBV3vcWVKSHZoJ0Y3Zqa" alt=""><figcaption><p>Planning data fields</p></figcaption></figure>

7. Let's add a chart and assign some of these fields. Click on **Charts** from the Visualizations pane and assign the required fields. We have now included a chart that compares gross profit to the sample input entered for each category.&#x20;

Need help? Refer to [this section](https://docs.fabricplan.com/create-planning-analytics-and-data-apps/pages/ptrFre5hrlD3ksDhoV2g#id-2.-add-visualization-and-assign-fields) that explains how to add a new visualization and assign fields.
{% endhint %}

Similarly, you can also include queries from Infobridge for visualizations within the BI sheet.&#x20;

We have explored how to add planning and BI sheets, as well as how to integrate planning with BI. In the next sections, we will focus on the capabilities of the planning and BI sheets in detail.
